Why choose someone licensed with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)?

Sports Medicine stands between two broad categories: Personal Trainers on one side, and Physical Therapists on the other. Your average Personal Trainer lacks the clinical background and experience to keep high risk athletes from injury, and most Physical Therapists are there for only after something went wrong. An American College of Sports Medicine certified trainer stands in between these two broad categories, with the credentials to provide Exercise Prescription, keeping you safely active while also giving the preventative care you deserve.

Why train with a yoga teacher at a Chiropractic clinic?

When you train at Balance Chiropractic, if any Nutritional, Manual Therapy, or Chiropractic needs arise that are beyond the scope of practice for your ACSM certified trainer, then you know Dr. Cheryl Kent is there to give you the quality of care you need. Treatments include cutting edge methods like Graston Technique and Cupping, as well as classical spinal manipulations.
